alright I'm back the next policy we're going to talk about is the cell phone policy or the device boss whoever you want to word it they're allowed students are allowed to bring these lovely things into the absolutely when they walk all students walk through metal detectors you know it but then when they get to their classrooms they have to turn their device into the teaching staff in the classroom that's non-negotiable I know sometimes parents want to get in touch with the student during the day but we're just trying to be as consistent as possible with this and you know it in the district rims it's not allowed either so we're trying to be consistent with what has a permitted in the school district classroom does Bob sub if they need if the child needs to talk to a parent or Guardian during the day we can make that Arrangement through school phone you know when the landlines in the school but as far as having that device on them during the school day that cannot be allowed and we need parents stuff back us up in that in the cell phone becomes an issue then we will be calling the parents to come in and help us do you know relay the message to this about the cell phone policy in their school so they can turn it in and allow the students have access it during the break during the day I'm in obviously they will get the device back at the end of the day before they leave for dismissal so when they come into the class we're expecting the students to hand off the device to the staff in the classroom and then at some point during the day they will get it back so all right so I think that pretty much covers the cell phone policy for staff or students in obviously you know when they have the cell phone on they cannot be playing anything that's inappropriate or offensive to people they're not allowed to be on social media in the school and they're not allowed to take pictures of record things also tell him that the cameras are no go and social media apps or no go during the school hours as well as other students on school property okay thanks for your help with this really appreciate it and I'll stay tuned for more videos
