12/15/2021: Update on the Masking Policy
Recently, the federal government ruled that facial coverings will no longer be mandatory in Pennsylvania's schools. Facial coverings policies will now be a local decision. Given the high rate of COVID transmission in our community and combined with the special needs of our student population, the administration of the BVIU has decided to continue with the masking requirement in all buildings operated by the BVIU until further notice. We strongly feel that this decision was made in the best interest of the health and safety of all students, staff, and visitors of the BVIU and New Horizon School.
